Wedding invitation suite for a Harry Potter inspired Halloween wedding
The Save the Date is my take on the Hogwart's Express train ticket. All done in Illustrator. Laser printed on Stardream Opal metallic cardstock. You can see a hint of shimmer in the paper.
The save printed part was then mounted to a solid bright purple card stock with a suede-like feel.
...and they were mailed in these lovely silver metallic envelopes.
Invitations were inspired by the Marauder's Map.
Using a gatefold instead of the complicated folds of the map reduced cost and labor producing the invitations.
They were adhered to the inside of card pockets. Ticket for entry, RSVP card and map to the venue were placed in the pocket.
The pockets were trimmed with ribbon and sealed with a faux wax seal of the Hogwarts crest (courtesy of Alysia Trevino).
